That’s because spinach is high in iron and has a great range of B vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, and niacin.

It also contains magnesium and zinc. It’s loaded with antioxidants that help protect your cells against free radical damage.

Spinach also boosts your immunity, helps prevent cancer growth, and improves your eye health.

Spinach is also low in carbohydrates, high in fiber, and has fewer calories than most other vegetables, making it an excellent option for those aiming to reduce weight or maintain their current status on the keto diet.

How To Make Keto Creamed Spinach

This recipe for keto creamed spinach is super easy to make with just a few quick steps and ingredients you probably have in your fridge already.

You’ll start by melting the butter in a saucepan and then adding in the cream. I prefer to use Central American cream for the extra creaminess and flavor but heavy cream works well too.

Then you’ll add the white cheddar cheese and stir often until the cheese has completely melted and incorporated into the sauce. Next, you’ll add in the parmesan cheese, once again stirring often until melted and combined.

Then it’s time to add the spinach and stir to mix and coat the spinach completely with the cream sauce. Continue cooking until the spinach wilts. This should take anywhere from 5-7 minutes over medium-high heat.

Once the spinach has wilted completely, you’ll transfer the mixture into your buttered baking dish, top with the remaining cheeses, and bake until the cheese is browned and bubbly.

Serve with your favorite protein, like our keto glazed ham, and enjoy!
