The following are the ingredients you'll need to make the carnivore fluff recipe: Note that the full recipe and nutrition facts are at the bottom of the page.
- Full-fat softened cream cheese, room temperature (block of cream cheese): It forms the creamy base of the fluff.
- Heavy whipping cream, cold: Whipped into the mixture for volume and lightness.
- Glycine powder (optional): An amino acid found in animal collagen that can be used as a carnivore-friendly sweetener.
- Pinch of salt: Enhances the overall flavor and balances the sweetness.
Why Glycine Works as a Sugar Alternative
Naturally sweet without the carbs
Glycine has a mild sweetness but doesn't raise blood sugar like regular sugar does. That makes it a great option for low-carb and keto diets.
Where the sweetness comes from
The name "glycine" actually comes from the Greek word for "sweet," and it lives up to that name with its gentle flavor.
Good for your body, too
Glycine helps your body make collagen, which supports healthy joints, skin, and connective tissues.
Taking it in pure powder form can also help with sleep and keeping blood sugar steady, even more effectively than collagen supplements, since you’re getting just glycine without other competing amino acids.
How To Make This Carnivore Dessert
First, let's bring the cream cheese to room temperature and ensure the heavy cream is cold.
Then, in a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the softened cream cheese, half the heavy cream, glycine powder if using, and salt.
Beat until the mixture is well combined. Add the remaining half of the heavy cream and continue beating until the mixture becomes light, fluffy, and airy.
Serve immediately for a soft texture, or chill in the refrigerator for a firmer, mousse-like consistency. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
Tips and Variations
- For a slightly tangier flavor, try using cultured cream cheese or mascarpone.

Join Our Jesus And Keto Movement
Our family came to the keto diet looking at it from a Christian perspective. As believers, we live our entire lives supported by God's grace.
So when the Holy Spirit led us to combine our Christian faith and the keto diet, we did so in hopes of finding lasting transformation.
To say we needed God's intervention is to put it mildly. When we followed the Holy Spirit's prompting, we got on the path to real transformation.
Knowing firsthand the benefits of this decision, we have created a closed Christian group that is using the keto diet to transform their lives.
I love how supportive and encouraging this group of believers is. It's exciting to see how people are transforming their lives by combining this lifestyle with the Christian faith.
