Favorite Keto Books

I am leading my suggestion with some especially useful ketogenic books that anyone who truly wants to change their diet can benefit from.

Without a doubt, there is a definite learning curve when you embark on a low carb keto diet. Which is why having several books that serve as a resource just makes sense.

At the top of my favorite keto books  are three books from my dear friend Jimmy Moore, from Livinlavidalowcarb

You can’t really talk about movers and shakers in the keto community without mentioning his work.

Jimmy Moore has dedicated his life to helping people find the correct information needed to properly do the diet that saved his life.

He does a fantastic job of breaking down the deep science of ketosis into layman’s terms and therefore takes away the intimidation factor when embarking on the keto diet.

His latest book Real Food Keto Applying Nutritional Therapy to Your Low-Carb, High-Fat Diet

Is the first book that he co-wrote with his lovely wife Christine Moore who’s an NTP. In this book, they team up to help you apply the principles of nutritional therapy while doing a low carb diet.

Unfortunately, a majority of people believe that going on keto diet will be a fix to all their weight and health struggles, but their book goes into great detail to explain why it may take some fine-tuning in your diet and supplementation in order to see the results you’re hoping for.

The book also includes easy to follow recipes from Maria Emmerich from Keto Adapted Maria Mind Body Health

Speaking of Maria, her recipe books should be a staple in every ketogenic dieter’s kitchen.

Maria is a wellness expert specializing in nutrition and exercise physiology. Her passion to help others reach their goals comes from her own journey to wellness.

Having struggled with her weight throughout her childhood and then infertility as an adult, she shares her great advice from a place of compassion.

Maria truly understands the connection between the foods we eat and our health.

Although there are many wonderful keto books out on the market, Maria is a true pioneer and her work has passed the test of time. I encourage you to read the sampling that Amazon provides to help you decide.

Maria’s blog and books were a godsend during my first year of going keto. Her deep knowledge added so much insight and helped confirm that I was on the right path to getting my health back. It’s my hope that her work will also be a blessing to you.

Keto Snacks

Shrewd Food Protein Crisps
Shrewd Food Protein Crisps

I’m loving Shrewd Food Protein Crisps. This snack satisfies my need for crunch without kicking me out of ketosis. It’s like the cheese puffs I grew up on minus all the artificial junk. Plus, it’s low in carbs and high in protein. A true satisfying snack.

Not everyone loves the kitchen as I do. This is where low carb keto snacks play a role in keeping you compliant on your diet.

Keto Kitchen Essentials

If you are ready to step up your game when it comes to keto cooking you really need some of these small kitchen appliances to make things easier. Although I am not a big gadget girl, I do have a few items I can’t seem to live without.

I assure you that any of the following suggestions will never gather dust in a keto kitchen and are well worth the small investment.

Keto Baking Pantry Staples

Baking on a low carb keto diet requires some staples that are not really optional. If you are regular follower of our blog, you know that I aim to keep my recipes easy to duplicate.

Because I am not a fan of overly complicated recipes, you will not find hard to come by ingredients on this list.

If you are still working your way around keto baking, I encourage you to check out my favorite Low Carb Keto Baking Tips for step-by-step guidance.

Keeping your keto baking pantry stocked with the following ingredients will make it super easy and convenient to follow along with my recipes.

These staples can always be found in our home and make the keto lifestyle a delicious option. I always try to keep these handy for quick and easy keto recipes.

Keto Baking Tools

In every baker’s kitchen there are some must have items. These are just a few I have highlighted for your convenience.

Rounding out my ultimate keto Christmas wish list are my snack suggestions. Consider creating a basket full of treats for a family that does keto together. Instead of several small individual items you can put a collection of for them to enjoy.

You can’t go wrong with keto treats as they are always a fun way to experiment on a keto diet.

Keto Holiday Treats

Why not consider baking a keto treat as a gift? A homemade treat shows that you not only took the time to bake but that you care about their wellbeing.

I love baking keto holiday treats and make them part of my Christmas giving because it adds a very personal touch.
