Bible Verses To Encourage

These Bible verses have been chosen to assist you on your journey to being whole in spirit, mind, and body. Why not make it a practice to pick a verse or two a day that applies to your need and recite them every day for a minimum of 21 days. This will help transform your mind. The voice we believe the most is that of our own. There is something very powerful that occurs when we confess the word of God over any situation we may be facing. Be encouraged! If God is for you who can be against you? Romans 8:31

Resisting Temptation Over food

There will be times when we feel like throwing up our arms and shouting “I just can’t do this!” Changing our way of eating is not exactly easy. But we have the assurance that God can walk us through this journey to wellness. If we allow Him to assist us, He is faithful to stand with us.

When we depend on Christ He is able to deliver us from any temptation, including the foods we know that can cause us to stumble. No matter how challenging the temptation is, He makes a way of escape when we lean on Him for strength.

24 Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. Jude 24

13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Corinthians 10:13

12 God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me. 1 Corinthians 12:9

Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you Psalm 37:5

Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. 3 John 1:2 (NIV)

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NLT)

You satisfy me more than the richest of foods. Psalm 63:5 (NLT)

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind he will find acceptable. Romans 12:1-2 (NLT)

Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink-even if you have no money! Take your choice of wine or milk-it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen and I will tell you where to get food that is good for the soul! Isaiah 55: 1-2 (NLT)

Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!  Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin (or food), which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Romans 6:14-16

You must serve only the LORD your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness. Exodus 23:25 (NLT)

Those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.  Isaiah 40:31

Strength For The Test At Hand

When we humble ourselves and admit that we need the strength of God to walk us through life’s challenges we are rewarded by His assistance. Christ freely offers strength to anyone that would ask. Next time you feel your strength is dwindling, rather than fret, ask Christ to step in and give you the strength you need.

10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 1 Corinthians 12:10

13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle, you will still be standing firm. Ephesians 6:13

Courage To Face Life’s Challenges

We will all face moments in this life that will test our courage. This is when we must turn our eyes upward and ask God to give us the courage to face the challenge.

Comfort In Order To Pass The Fiery Trial

CONFESSION FOR DIVINE HEALTH

Father God, I thank You that above all things I am prospering and I am in health, even as my soul prospers. 3 John 1:2 As the seed of Abraham my body is blessed, and my youth is renewed like the eagles. Ps 103:5 You are Jehovah-Rophe and have taken sickness and disease away from me. Ex 15:26 My soul blesses You Lord and does not forget all Your benefits. You’ve forgiven all my iniquities and You’ve healed all my diseases. Ps 103:2

In the name of Jesus, I curse at the root every sickness, disease, pain, virus and infirmity that has attacked my body or ever touches my body. I cast you out in Jesus’ name! Satan, you get your lying symptoms out of here! Come out! You’re illegal and have no authority in my life. My body is the holy temple of God and He is glorified by my total deliverance and healing.

I continue in God’s word, and because I know the truth, the truth has made me free. I am whole, of sound mind and body. I am energized, revitalized, purified, exercised, transformed, renewed, restored, strengthened, power-packed, a powerhouse for God! I believe in the healing power of God to fill me, surround me, keep me, preserve me, and purify my entire system.

I am now in the body of Christ and forever loosed from the bondage of infirmity. My health has sprung forth. There is no trace of sickness or disease in my body, and I will never be sick another day of my life, in Jesus name.

I serve the Lord my God and he blesses by bread and water and all my food and drink. If I eat any deadly or harmful thing, it will not hurt me. God has taken sickness away from the midst of me. Mark 16:18 Jesus was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, so every attack on my health is destroyed. 1 Jn 3:8

Jehovah-Shalom prevails over my body. He’s healed every wound so that there’s nothing missing, nothing broken. The Spirit of Him that raised Jesus from the dead quickens my mortal body every day. I am dead to sins and alive to righteousness. You healed me, O Lord, and I am healed, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Rn 8:11
